Dear Papa Hayes! exists in loving memory of Milford Lee Hayes, Sr. - affectionately called Papa. Papa loved his family dearly, worked hard to provide, and genuinely believed in helping others.
Papa and Gram raised their family in Waterbury, Connecticut. They believed in unconditional love, family, faith, and responsibility, among other things.
Present
In 2020, Papa and Gram's grandchild - Destiny - began writing children's stories. With the support of her husband - an ARMY Veteran - and their energetic son, Destiny created Dear Papa Hayes!
Dear Papa Hayes, LLC is an independently owned children's book company located about 25 miles from Washington, DC. So far, Destiny published five children's books, which are sold at independent bookstores, museums and online at Target and Walmart. She hopes to publish the 10 book series by 2024.
As a mom, Destiny enjoys cultivating positive and uplifting messages for her son and other young readers.
Future
